I know in TN we get snow, but like.. it never stays or sticks. So i guess my question is whats it like in your area? is like hard like rocks or (basically is it more like ice than snow)?? is it soft, how much snow do you normally get? how long does it stay for?
whats snow like?

I live in scandinavia so snow here is something we get nearly every year between november and april, and it can stay for days or weeks at a time (with it sometimes being soft and sometimes turning into grey slush depending on if you live in the city or not)

I live at a latitude of around 20 degrees North. Here, "Snow" is what you get when you poke around the insides of a fridge/freezer.

i love snow sm. in michigan we get all kinds of snow, lake effect from the great lakes, actual systems moving thru, we get icy rain, sleet, styrofoam ball type snow, powdery dry snow, wet heavy snow thats perfect for making snowmen and snow forts and stuff, hard crusty snow... we get it all here ^_^
last winter was really mild, we didnt get much snow and spring came early. this year its supposed to be a real michigan winter for the first time in at least a few years
