beat fomo, stop doomscrolling, live a better life

Fomo = Fear of missing out

Like honestly? what will you miss, if you delete social media right now?

Some stupid trend? An important event in a friends life?

Fuck the trend and just talk to your friends and ask them whats up in their lifes. Like yk, words exist and are meant to communicate with each other. Anyone you lose contact to when deleting social media, are they really worth it, when they can't bother to chat with you via [enter name of messenger app popular in your region] instead of social media?

I live in germany and got a friend in morocco, we've never met in person, but we still have contact, even though i do not have social media anymore. So clearly you don't need social media. If you have social media you have a phone or email or both and with that, you can be reached.

And you are seriously not missing out anything. Like I don't know what stupid shit is trending right now. And guess what? I'm fine. I'm not an outcast, because of it.

And in a month from now, that trend will be gone and forgotten. So if you step back now and don't return to social media for a month or two, you will not even notice there was another one of the million trends.

Don't waste your time, you only live once and every second you waste on doom scrolling, you ain't getting that time back.

Go sit down, think about your childhood and like draw a place you remember from your memory. Or go on maps and do the option to see how your area looked when you were born. (don't do it, might fuck with your mind). Just do something that isn't doom scrolling.
