final time terror trouble (Jargin No. 29)

final

finals are here a' comin'. one week until a full month off from college. this is the time i would expect to find myself too busy to do anything else but my mind does wonders and tells me that i can totally manage it all on the days that each individual assignment is due. it is wrong but i'm riding on enjoying myself at the moment so i won't stress myself out too much

earlier this night i kinda got in a funk after taking a shower and i didn't feel like doing anything much so i opened krita and went to see if i could draw out whatever until i felt a bit better. 5 minutes into doodling using my drawing tablet, i dropped my pen and the nub snapped and got stuck in the pen. I freaked out because i had a project for one of my classes due soon and my project involves a drawn flyer that i hadn't finished

I looked up solutions and found people saying to heat up a needle and stick it into the nub and pull it out but 1) i dont have a needle 2) i dont have a lighter 3) it was 1 in the morning and i wasnt willing to walk out to CVS or whatever to get those to fix the pen at that moment. I tried going into the public kitchenette and using the stove to heat a safety pin but that didnt work and i probably looked insane looming over a stove with nothing on it in the middle of the night in the very public kitchenette with large windows looking out to the hallway

eventually i figured it out by brute-forcing the pin into the pen and slowly wedging it out. Huion or whoever, you need to figure out a better way to fix this issue it sucks i know I'm the one who broke it but i didnt want to buy another pen for $40 and i'm still upset about it

on a related to art but unrelated to the doodles note, i wanted to learn animation in blender because i will be needing that in the future and i used the acloudyskye rig i made to test the face rig and also just see if i still have any animation skill set left within me after 7+ years of not doing animation

I found this song and it sound really good and so does the artist's other stuff so i will try listening to more Mietze Conte soon

i haven't played world of keflings in over a decade and they released it on Steam after it only being on xbox 360 for years and years and years and years. i haven't gotten to playing it just yet but i rediscovered this track from the game and it reminds me how peak it was omg omg

I really miss all the games with the 360 avatars, they weren't very high quality usually but they were my favorite. i rememember one game where you made roller coasters and one of the levels was just a giant cube cave land space and it was really uncomfortable and scary looking but i liked it

I am so excited for Christmas it's the second best right behind Halloween. They might be tied, I don't know. The first half of the year is so boring because there's nothing happening but the end of the year is always there for me to look forward to because of Halloween and CHRISTMAASSSS
