"There's no real me, I guess that's it. I only exist in the people aware of my existence. But what about this me that I can hear talking right here and now? It's me? Isn't it? This me that's talking, who is it? Who is me?" I am the perception of others; I only exist for those who know of my existence. Who am I when no one is watching? Who is thinking this? Who I am depends on what others believe I am. I do not exist outside of other people's minds. Who am I when no one is watching? I am the result of what was once seen, the mixture of things perceived by others in the past that now, in the present, live on their own and have been affected by what is currently seen. What I saw and see in others is what they are. That is why, no matter where you are or where you want to hide, everyone is always connected. You are there, over there, or here; she, he, it doesn't matter; we are all everyone, no one is anyone. Every smile, tear, blow, silence—none of it is yours, none of it belongs to anyone. Nothing has an owner, because we all are. All versions of you were you at some point, even if they no longer exist, even if they were "fake"... What is real anyway? Reality is what others can perceive, right? And what about the inside? That only exists within oneself... From what others created, what they see, what they reacted to, what they did, everything and everyone is connected, that is human nature. That's why I want to stop being human, stop seeing me, stop perceiving me. I don't want to exist, and if you don't know I exist, that would be the same as dying. But what's inside still remains. What about that? What do you do with it? Where does it come from? Why? Part of it is the fault of the rest, of the construct we are, but where does the rest come from? Why does the human brain work this way? We depend on others to exist, to think, to reason, to cry, to laugh, everything, but why do we feel what we feel? There are things that can't be the fault of others; there are things one is simply born with. But why? Does it really matter if no one can see it? Am I really feeling anything if no one actually knows? Does something exist that cannot be perceived? Everything is perceived, everything always affects, something touches it, it's noticeable, it remains, it's felt, it exists. If it's there, it's because it exists, even if no one knows it, understands it, perceives it, feels it, sees it, or it actually affects them or not. No, that's what makes something exist: connection. If something doesn't affect or is not affected, it doesn't exist. That means that death means nothing, you will continue to exist, you simply will not be perceived in a tangible way, but you will still continue to exist because the only thing that makes you cease to exist or not is whether you are still in others who are aware of you. So, nothing exists unless it affects or is affected. For example: If one day I go to a very, very distant place where there is no one and nothing, and I erase everyone's memories of me, I cease to exist even though I continue to live. Once you affect or are affected, there's no escaping it; you'll exist forever until everyone who was ever aware of your existence dies. It's that simple.
No matter where you are, everyone is always connected.
