wtf is Quiet storm?

it popped up as one of my top genres this year. Maybe I'm not with the times? Genuinely just confused. anyway, I got this idea from jollyZomBoy.exe, so go check out his page to see his blog about his Spotify wrapped (thank you jollyZomBoy.exe). 

But yeah, this is my Spotify wrapped-

my top genres were. 1 Alternative Rock. 2 Pop rap. 3 Quiet storm (zero fucking clue what that is). 4 Oldies. 5. Soft pop.

my top songs were. 1. My all by Mariah Carey. 2. Everybody here wants you by jeff buckley. 3 Soo Anxious by Ginuwine. 4 Like a tattoo by Sade. and number 6 is Harder to Breathe by Maroon 5

My top albums however were.1 Eclipse by Prîncess.2 B'day by Beyonce.3 A fever you can't sweat out by (obv) Panic! At The Disco. 4 Night & Love këht Aräkh. and 5 was Chainsaw dismemberment by Mortician.

top Artist are (This did an didnt make sense). 1 Mariah Carey. 2. Jeff Buckley. 3 Hozier. 4 Michael Jackson. 5 was beyonce.

overall, i listened to 45,853 minutes (alot lower than i thought) and i listened to 290 genres, and i listened to 2,059 songs this year, also listened to 976 artist this year. And my listening age is 46. (wtf is the point in this). apparently, it's from most of the music being from the 90s.
