Having no phone sucks but is cool too

So I don't own a phone and can't really talk to my friends outside of school (I use a school Chromebook </3), but like, it's lowkey a good thing? See, I have really good grades, like all A's. I have a pretty good attention span, Ig. And one of my beautiful friends even amitted that her grades got lower when she got a phone. But I also wanna talk to my friends. I find it embarrassing that I have to go to one of my friends or sum and ask them to call my dad bc we just finished marching. My parents SAY they trust me, but yet again I haven't had one. They also forbade me from having any social media or even Roblox. They aren't crazy strict or anything, so Idk. Not having access to the internet has benefits, but I feel that once I got into high school, they would give me one. Especially because I  do a bunch of activities outside of school. But I can wait, I don't desperately need one, but it would be nice.
