I don't know what Home Depot's system is like, but I can tell you that Lowe's is a lottery. They don't even have human HRs anymore, they just let an AI decide everything. Even if you have a great interview, the computer will just say they found somebody else while still keeping the position posted as "open".
Sherwin-Williams is a better employer than both, but it's been really struggling as a company since last year.
