Deltarune Chapter 5 Predictions & Theories!!!

Okkk so this isn't a normal blog on my acc (since I usually just rp as Noelle...) but I thought I'd write down some ideas I have for Chapter 5 of Deltarune and see how close I am when the chapter actually releases!!!

This blog is a current W.I.P because I don't exactly have all my thoughts laid out yet... Once I finish writing most of this I'll try to make it neater and easier to navigate...

Darkworld

So I'm sure it's semi-confirmed that chapter 5 will be taking place in Asgore's flower shop because of the prophecy in chapter 4 and Gerson re-capping Lord of the Hammer

because this chapter is most-likely Asgore centered, there MIGHT be info relating to Dess' disappearance since you know.. he was the one in charge of the case

I'm not sure how likely this is but it's definitely something to think about

I also like the idea that the rainbow-colored flowers in Asgore's shop will be alluding to the fallen humans from Undertale. I don't think they'd ACTUALLY look human since they're darkners and obviously there's Kris but I'm excited to see how they pull off the designs!!!

I really think there will be a lot more Friend easter eggs because of the whole Pink and Gold thing... and also because of the fact the last 2 chapters had SO MANY mentions of him.

• A VERY VERY cool idea by @jongler is that Asgore will confuse Ralsei for Asriel if/when they encounter each other in the Dark World, separating him from Susie and Kris (and most likely even Noelle).

I don't have a clear idea as to how they're gonna continue from the Jitterbug scene but Sans MAY OR MAY NOT still be in the Dreemurr household by morning and I'm curious to see how Kris will react via any dialogue options / What Toriel will say..

I'M HOPINGGGGG we'll get more background on Susie and her homelife that caused her to get so tense seeing Toriel drunk like that.

I don't have much to say for this as I this whole section probably won't be more than 10 minutes because of the festival...

Festival

Since Carol is the one hosting the festival, I hope there's a bit more content with her in it but knowing her character, I won't get my hopes up TOO much.

Also if Rudy does end up making it to the Festival, I think it'd be interesting to see an interaction between him and Carol.

As seen in Chapter 4 (and the other 3 chapters...), Rudy's health is rapidly declining and it's heavily speculated he might collapse during the Festival. Whether it happens if this chapter or not, I REALLYY wanna see how Susie's gonna explain to Noelle that the Dark Worlds can revive Rudy!! Especially after she's convinced the whole Cyber World thing was just a dream...

On Bluesky, Toby Fox shared dialogue from Chapter 5 that have to do with a worm being caked up???????? Apparently it's got something to do with makeup which is WAYYY better than what people think it means lol..
