Okay so, this is just on my mind. Why the fuck are we so obsessed with fitting into a specific category? For example: You like low rise jeans, you think theyre cute and look good--better than most styles of jeans. So, you get yourself a pair of low rise jeans--cool. But you only have so much money and lets face it, low rise jeans arent always practical or comfy so you cant wear them 24/7. But now, youre almost disgusted with yourself for wearing a different pair of jeans just because they arent low rise.
Do you guys get me? Like if you like the 2000s vibes but also more modern things--you CAN like both. It doesnt have to be one or the other. You can have 100 diff styles that you love. You really dont need to stick to one for the "aesthetic". Just like what you like. Stop trying to fit perfectly into this stupid aesthetic youve forced yourself to follow. You wont die if youre not matching a specific aesthetic for a week. Make YOUR aesthetic. Your own personalised one--not someone elses. Be free!! Stop creating more rules for yourself to follow.

Call me crazy, but as someone with sensory issues and a belly button piercing, low rise jeans (and when I say low rise, I mean actual low rise like what you'd see in the 2000s, not the mid rise bullshit falsely tagged as "low rise") are the most comfortable type of jeans out there and the only ones I wear.
I simply don't understand how anyone can find having their navel and waist molested and squeezed and having their diaphragms compressed by their waistband "comfortable", even more so if they also happen to have any navel and/or hip piercings. But hey, maybe that's just me.

i totally understand this, im not big on labels for anything, ik it's for finding people you can relate to and vibe w/ over the same stuff. but when it comes to things like styles, and what i like i dont bother labeling it cause there wull always be that one person screaming poser n debating whenthere im really into what i claim to be like juhh vibe i cant take it that's why i use the vauges labels.
Exactlyyy, i think we as human beings need to relax and just be.
