i know this is definetly Not a new or original complaint but the quality of fashion today is extremely annoying
had 2 buy a new pair of boots cause my old ones were starting to fall apart (got them from a fast fashion brand back when i still shopped there. barely 2 years old). went to this one store that some family has bought from before and hasnt had any issues with and got a new pair. and now ots barely been 3 months and tjeyre starting to fall apart too, somehow even quicker than my previous pair
and this is definetly not the only brand ive seen drop even lower in quality than they were before. its just annoying how we can never trust that the things that we buy will last. these disposable pieces even end up in second hand stores (which, im glad that theyre not getting thrown into a landfill at least), so its difficult 2 find good quality stuff even there

Yeah. Everything is faux, pleather, shein, temu... There's barely anything good nowadays. Even expensive brands are using cheap methods to make clothes. Facebook marketplace has some good secondhand stuff at least, a lot of Ralph lauren for cheaper and the quality isnt bad.
yup, i feel like ive seen soo many people recently complain about the quality dip even in expensive brands. second hand is definetly the way to go.
i should also probably check if facebook marketplace is active where i live, so thx for reminding me that it existed lol
