(TRIGGER WARNING)

MADiSON is an indie horror game developed by BLOODIOUS GAMES. It was released 2022 with positive reviews on Steam. It is around 4-5 hours long.

MADiSON revolves around Luka Maxwell, a 17 year old boy who has been possesed by a demon named Madison. The Main story revolves around Luka who is explroing his Grandfathers old House, as he experiences strange occurences. The game has PLENTLY of horror and story elemnts, so ill briefly explain most of it:

MAIN STORY:

After recieving a old Camera for his 16th Birthday, Luka Maxwell begins experiencing strange Headaches anf often complete blackouts. His Father, John Maxwell, concerned for his safety contactes a lokal priest in search for answers. The priest concludes that Luka had been possessed by the Demon of Madison Welch (more on her later), whom the Camera had belonged to previously. Luka begins experiencing more frequent Blackouts, in which Madison took control of his Body. During one of those Blackouts, he killed his entire Family under the posession of Madison.               MADISON: Madison Hale was a 47 zear old satanic woman who was obsessed with Witchcraft. In one particular incident, Madison murdered her entire Family, severing their limbs in a well. Th unfortunately, her ritual failed, as a police officer shoot her dead. Being tied to the Camera, which she had used to take pictures of her families limbs, she used Lucas body to attempt to retrz the ritual. At the end, Madison posesses Lukas body, thus returning to the World.

MADiSON contains PLENTY of backstory on Lukas Family, specifically his Dads side. They had their own ties to a specific demon. I will be going over them briefly:

JOHN MAXWELL: John Maxwell was Lukas Father. He had him very young, relying on support from his Parents. when John was around 7 years old, he and his Mother went to a Garage sale, and bought a book about a fictional Character labelled as Blue knees. Due to the haunting nature of the book, John began experiencing very frequent Nightmares. His Father brushed it off, and eventually he forgot about it.

ELIZABETH MAXWELL: She was Lukas Grandmother, and probably the second most important Character. After buying her child the book, a Demon by the Name of Blue knees had tied itself onto Elizabeth, thus haunting her for her last few years and giving her and early death. Elizabeth began experiencing sightnings of said Demon, hearing him and seeing him everytime her husband was away for work. Unfortunately, that led to her irises beginning to dissappear, leaving only white. Albert tried taking her to a Doctor, but nothing could be done. She turned blind. A few months after, she died mzsteriously.

ALBERT MAXWELL: Albert Maxwell was Lukas Grandfather, a clockmaker. He was married to Elitabeth Maxwell, and overall a very busy man. When his Wife began experiencing these Hauntings, Albert didnt believe her. It was after her death that he realised all what she went trough, thus he dedicated the last few zears of his Life trying to bring her back. Unfortunately, it failed.

BLUE KNEES: Blue knees is a mysterious demon that had tied itself to his book, then to Elizabeth. Little is known about it, so i will just explain the content of the book: Blue knees sat on his bed, when a loud sound startled it, his eyes had popped out of their sockets. With desperation, thez started crawling on the ground searching for them, until their knees scraped Blue, never realising their eyes had fallen under their bed.

Another Demon i wanted to mention was (who ill refer to) as HANS. To get to him, we have to move to the Church, a short Area that has a total of 3 locations, each for diffrent timeyones such as: 1951, 1987 and 2021. For this Demon, we need to go back to 1951. Luka is greeted bz a Confessional booth standing in front of him, inside, we hear a Woman named Nancy talk about her mariage problems. She begins talking about her Husband, whom she alwazs thought was a lovely man. Trough the short period of her explanation, we begin to hear her mental state decay. After a minute of crying, Nancy reveals to us that her then Husband Hans kept from her that he used to lead gaschamers during WW2, killing multiple innocent people with no remorse. After finding out about said information, nancy grabbed a Knife and stabed her Husband. after were done listening to said confession, We need to move trough a maze were we encouter Hans in his menacing presence.
