soooooo i dont really know much of what to post here so i thought i'd show off some of my hexbugs and tell a little about them !!!!!

Emi

Model: Original (aka Beetle) Submodel: V2.5 Shell shape: Echo Color: red Name: Emi

this is my girl Emi!! this specific type of bug is nothing rare, she's actually one of the few standard-issue Originals i have!! sadly, she's missing one of her front legs so she has trouble walking :<

Damson

hehe, u can see my violetchi plushie on the ground in the bg,,

Model: Inchworm Color: plum Name: Damson

one of the 3 inchworms i have!! these guys have really fun movement, so im very glad damson is actually functional. plum is also a rare color! originally, the inchworm was released in 5 colors, including plum and black, but they were replaced pretty quickly with orange and pink, so both of those colors are pretty hard to find nowadays!

Selkhe 

Model: Rhino beetle Color: trans. green Name: Selkhe

one of the later hexbugs released was the rhino beetle! there isn't a ton abt them online [hexbugs are very poorly documented ( '' •́ - •̀ ) ] but unlike most of the post-2014 i actually find them very charming !!.... even tho theyre just a reskin of the ant. oh well! and Selkhe here is a trans green rhino beetle, which are pretty rare! in general the trans colors of these guys are rare, the metallic ones are still being sold.

shes very cute tho. emerald girlie!

oh! and she's named after an old DnD character of mine who was a hercules beetle (selkhe is a corruption of heracles)

hexbugs are very important and cute to me and i'd really love to see them get more attention. with all the 2000s nostalgia i really would think they'd get more love!
