I'm currently having a mini crisis, I fear im becoming too basic...
All of this started because i'm growing my hair and want to get blonde highlights, in my head i'm going for a girl next door, rom-com protagonist, sweet vibe, but i'm thinking that may present as just some NPC without a fashion or sense of self.
And one part of me thinks: That's ok, while you know who you are and youre happy with how you look thats all that matters. And the other part is: IM COOL I SWEAR GUYS TRUST ME, I NEED YOU TO KNOW.

That's relatable, I've been feeling pretty down about it this winter because it's too chilly to wear things that don't make me uncomfortable. + Let me look cool raaah...! x3
I don't think blonde hair is enough to make you look generic. You can always play around with the way you style it and the clothing. Different textures and colours of the fabric can do a lot. Even just some accessories. And even if you end up settling on something popular, it's alright. You're allowed to like popular things.
oh my god i have the same problem but backwards! i love winter and autumn because all my favorite fits are a combo of a sweater and a skirt, and when summer comes i don't know what to wear.
maybe i just need to accept that my style is a bit basic ooor i can call it classic and timeless, but i know im cool inside, and i should be happy with that, dont judge a book by its cover and all
