For most of my life I've wanted to be an artist when I grew up, but as I grew older I realized that dream wouldn't be so feasible. As such, I've decided to settle for trying to work in the field of Cyber Security. Im quite young now so it's not extremely important that I should be focusing on learning this, but a bit of it on the side shouldn't be bad. The problem is that everything is so new and unknown that I'm a bit overwhelmed. When I was younger I learned HTML and the basics of web design, so learning a new programming language isn't anything new to me. It's just that I'm learning so slow and I want to know everything but it's really difficult to get there. I think because I was used to being "the best" at one thing and sticking to it (drawing) that I've coaxed myself into thinking everything would be this easy, but surprise! It's not.
Maybe one day I'll check that final box on my roadmap, but until then I have a long way to go.
learning something new is overwhelming
