Less than a month ago, I thought The Walking Dead was probably just some overrated show that isn't actually worthy of the glaze …Even though I never actually watched it :^
Even though I've only got to season 3, I still think 11 seasons is probably very unnecessary, maybe the show remains a decent level of quality thorough the late seasons, but I guess I'll find out when I get there.
But anyways, the first episode of the show didn't grab my attention on the first watch, I never even finished it. But recently I decided to finish the first episode, and it practically got me hooked on the show.
Moral of the story, start watching The Walking Dead if you haven't.

YESSSSS twd is SO GOOD. The quality does go down a bit in like season 9ish (IMO!!!!!!!) but it's sosososo good.. Dwight is my fav character he comes in season 7 i think 8 maybe? idk but I should rewatch twd.. ALSO I recommend fear the walking dead when you finish! I haven't seen the early seasons but the later ones are rly good!
well idk season 9/10 has it's good bits,, i dont like season 11 though tbh

I figured that the shows quality dwindled by season 9/10 based off reviews..
But so far I agree that the show is really good, and personally I think its paced better than Breaking Bad.
Maybe the surplus of seasons and episodes is a good thing, so we don't run out of anything to watch

I think that's mostly because people didn't like how season 8 ended,, I really like the antagonist of season 9/10! It's such an interesting concept and I think they did a good job showcasing it. There are parts throughout all seasons where the show doesn't follow the comics but I don't think it's terrible.. There's also a game which is good and has a different story with different chars.. very good imo!

I really liked it!! I think everyone can agree it's amazing,, it's just the end of it where people are divided. but tbh I think the ending was great. It full circled back to ricks character in many ways especially when looking back at the early seasons. I know a lot of people would disagree with very valid reasons but I liked it. I think once you take a step back from it and think about it, you realize a lot about it. 10/10 but i'm also easily satisfied so take my word with a grain of salt lol

Interesting... I'm only on S3E2 so I have a lot to go before I get there... I gotta get back into watching it though, it's been a few days lol
I love the tension in this show though, almost every episode so far is super interesting and tense, do you think all the episodes going forwards are like that?

Definitely! There are some more peaceful episodes but even those are really good and have some sort of tension at some point. You should definitely pick it back up because there's so many interesting plots and twists! So excited for you tbh.. I wish I could watch twd for the first time again.. genuinely such an incredible show

I really thought that Breaking Bad was one of the best shows of all time (You should watch if you haven't), but now I think The Walking Dead might be better, its really cool how they can make the zombie apocalypses scenario so fleshed out and interesting. I agree that its an amazing show, I'm kind of surprised it doesn't get the same glaze that Breaking Bad does

It usually does but I think with it ending and the spin offs not being as good kind of tanked it a bit. I think it's still the same people just aren't as loud about it these days. I haven't seen breaking bad either.. I tried to watch it but the first episode didn't interest me much and the concept of the show doesn't either.. I'll watch it.. one day.. lol

Same tbh, the entire first season of Breaking Bad wasn't really too intriguing too me (It was great when I re-watched it though), but by the end of Season one the show got extremely interesting. But the show does get boring from time to time in my opinion.

That's fair. I'd say the same about twd but it lowkey kinda.. doesn't.. lol I mean it's opinion based but I don't think i've ever been bored watching it. Well no I take that back s3/4 can be boring but that's mostly because the antagonist doesn't interest me much. A good concept, just not my cup of tea I suppose

I just watched it a day or two ago, and I really like the realistic approach to the zombie apocalypses idea, but it was just kind of boring tbh
