So, it's been a while since my last blog post and I kinda hinted at an update in regards to my dating app experience in my first post... I just thought to myself, screw it why not! It is therapeutic to write down your thoughts after all... And a LOT has happened.
!Warning! This is gonna be a little lengthy! (Says he, like someone will actually bother reading any of this lol.)!
TL;DR: Being single is nothing bad. Fictional men and self-shipping rules!
Well... About giving this whole shtick a month before I dip... I didn't. I'm still on these apps and I still hate it with every fiber of my being. HOWEVER! I did learn a LOT about other people and most importantly myself.
I've had a lot of chats. I went on some dates. I met new people. And has anything changed? YES, IT DID!
I stop beating around the bush now... I am in fact... Still single XD! There's a big difference to when I started out on this "journey" as single and while it's still going on, remaining single though.
Because, now I can proudly say that... I'M HAPPY BEING SINGLE!
Never thought I'd say these words ever in my life lol XD. Over the course of these four agonizing months I've gone through all the phases of dating, man... I had my rose colored glasses on, I had my clarity stages, I went through griefing phases etc.
I've had emotional highs and lows. And in the end, I realized that where I am right now in life in regards to being single and stuff... It's not that bad. In fact, it's so much better than I made it out to be. It's very obvious that the experiences I've had on these apps were mostly negative but in the end they all served as a valuable lesson. All my life I had this delusional obsession to have that one true love like probably many others... BUT HUMANS SUCK MAJOR BALLS MAAAAAN XDDDDD!
After spending my precious time on people who never deserved it in the first place, receiving many unwanted dick pics TO THIS DAY! NO, SERIOUSLY WHILE I'M WRITING THIS SOMEONE JUST SENT ANOTHER ONE AGAIN!!! And having all these useless chats that go nowhere... I'm frankly happy with being on my own. #StrongIndepentedWomanEraExceptImNotAWomanLOL
And that no man will ever hold a candle to the one million fictional men I'm proudly self-shipping myself with to this day, haha!
"Why are you still on the apps, though?"
Good question, simple answer. As much as I dislike them, it technically doesn't hurt having them around? Like, you can still be on them and check them out from time to time just in case a decent human being finally comes around. And since dating isn't a priority to me anymore, I don't have to log into them every single day.
"Okay, so what's next?"
Gonna focus on myself, the people dear to me and try living my life to the fullest, as per usual :3
And definitely stop stressing myself out about meeting Mr Right. Because, there is no such thing lol XD. I'm still open to meeting new people, though! So, if any of that stuff here resonates with you...

Tbfffff most dating apps only serve the purpose of noncon pic sending, weird people looking for genuine romantic souls and more lol. They've gotten less and less genuine and many just want fuckbuddies, if you can even call it that X~X
Never been on any of them, but one of my friends has tried their luck on some of them only 2 be faced with sexual content.. German dating platforms / servers are fucking NUTS. I for instance met my partner on SpaceHey lmaoo, don't know how much of a better example that is, but the best way to find people like you is to engage in specific forums or meetups etc irl. Dating websites are constantly being exploited by creeps unfortunately 7n7

Yeah, that's true... I've pretty much given up on them entirely at this point. Only checking in if I really don't have anything better to do.
Last time I had an active chat with someone was pretty recently, but since he just wanted to screw me I decided it would be fun to mess with him... So, I trolled him big time XDDDD He created like three accounts just to message me again after I blocked him. He swore he would break me one day so I finally smash him lol. Never going to happen and he literally gave up after a day. So much for dedication but I'm just glad that loser leaves me alone haha!
Meeting your partner here is crazy like how likely is it to find your significant other here especially as a German XDD Congrats!

Duuude wtfff that's nasty af -._-. At least he gave up and left you alone but honestly there are so many of these creeps only looking to screw, finding a genuinely interesting person is soooooo difficult Y_Y
And yes!!! It was definitely insane to find him on here, but tbf a lot happened and now the situation between him and me is really complicated. I think it's great to connect with people online, eventually you'll find someone right for you 2. Dating apps not so much unless you want to troll creeps there loollllll They'll try to ruin your life at some point

Plot Twist: He tried again yesterday... So, I guess he still thinks about me. But, he always writes the same message so it's easy to unmask him lol. I am worried to run into him in real life since the app shows me he apparently lives in my city. But, let's not jynx it XD
Complicated in a bad way? :00 If so I hope you two figure this out. It would be so sad if such a miracle find on SpaceHey would just crumble... But, humans are complicated as hell... I learned the hard way that a romantic partner doesn't magically fix you. Instead it just gives you another complicated human being with their own stuff to deal with. And it requires a lot of compromises...
Online people have always turned out in trauma for me so it's hard to try to connect to someone there but if you wanna expand your contact list you have to take that risk :D!
The trolling on dating apps brings me genuinely so much joy XD! Like, I have accumulated a lot of very funny reaction pics! And sending these as replies to dick pics is so funny!!!! XDDD

Yeah we kinda broke up and stuff, I'm still extremely mentally devastated Y_Y I never touched dating apps or other forums aside from the very few that were super popular back then lol, I fucking hate thirsty peeps sliding into dms and whatnot man I'd probably remove then anywhere possible. Seriously respect people who've got that tolerance though, it's crayzzzzz to deal with o_O

Oh no... I'm sorry to hear that. Take your as much time as you need to heal from that. It might seem like the end of the world for now but everything will get better once you're over it :3!
Yeah... No matter who you ask about dating apps they always say not to get them. I'd say the best way to find connections is probs in real life but mustering up the courage to talk to someone for the first time is nerve wracking O_O. That's why I decided to add rejection therapy to my resolutions XD!

looooooollll yeah socializing is hell. Confessing works best in person but it's fair 2 say that meeting some1 for the first time is easier through text. I hate smalltalk to hell and back that I'd dive into the real questions better and way quicker digitally. That's the most important thing 4 me tbhh

I'm always a firm believer that things and people will come to you at the right time ! I personally haven't tried dating apps, but then again the queer dating pool in my area is,,,, minuscule. SO REAL FOR SELF-SHIPPING THO ! I wish more people were in the self-shipping community fr. I would love to hear who your f/o's are!

About people entering one's life at the right time, I do hear that a lot. Though in my case those people could have gladly stayed away haha XDDD But, everything is a lesson so at least you learn something from that XDD
As you can take away from my blog post, I wouldn't recommend dating apps. At best they're a distraction to kill some spare time. At worst you get to meet some... really "interesting" people.

I was very "judging a book by its cover", I would see ads EVERY WHERE for it and I thought all the guys just looked the same and like they would have very cut-cardboard personalities. Then I found out that my best friend actually loved the game, and she told me all about it. It actually has very interesting lore! Also Raf is the only reason I started playing myself, because I thought there for sure wasn't a guy I would be interested in this game, and then my bsf told me "no you would love raf he is so needy and dramatic" AND I WAS HOOKED! The game itself is pretty standard to like, every gacha game ever, so I've just been playing it pretty casually.
