rat tails are NOT creepy!! (the animal, not the hair.) (the hair is also cool tho)

rats are fucking awesome ok?? i can kinda understand why majority of people dislike them, it’s pushed into your brain from the start that they’re a bad animal. i also understand not wanting a rat infestation in your home because that’s awful. but rats on their own? awesome! i’m not even just talking about fancy pet rats (every tho they’re super duper awesome, got 2 on my shoulder as i type this) but i don’t draw the line at wild rats either! awesome from a distance like any other wild animal. some people are open minded when i mention rats, but ive noticed a common fear. people are scared of of rat tails? “oh their face is so cute its just the tail that creeps me out!!” “oh if it weren’t for that tail!” “oh boy rat tails really scare me!!” why?? i don’t get it? no one ever has an explanation. i always have to mask and be polite and be like “haha yeahh” but i don’t understand. and you know what?? i think rat tails are fucking cool!! i love rat tails! they’re so unique and have such a nice texture. i like feeling them and rubbing my fingers on them like a stim. i love rat tails!! i love rats!! slightly off topic, but people also say “oh these rats are cool but i just HATE new york city rats” in response to whenever i had pet rats. and you know what? new york city rats are great too! if i was a little rat in new york city i would also be a fat rat bastard eating a piece of pizza while riding a subway. i can also do that as a human. as a human, im also a fat rat bastard that can eat a piece of ny pizza on a subway. that wouldn’t change if i was a rat, yall just cry babies. i’ve also been to new york city and i’ve never seen rats as big as they describe. (though, nyc rats are actually separated as uptown, midtown, and downtown fun fact) guess what? they’re normal rats! i also watched them play together like my previous pet rats have as well on the street. moral of the story, rats are fucking awesome ok??
