Sometimes people have many bugs in their home but they dont really ever feel bothered to look them up.
For no reason I simply want to talk about indianmeal moths, AKA the random brown butterflies that cutely fly in your cabinet and eat your granolas!!!

First of all, these little not very cute beings may have entered your home by 2 ways!!
1- Accidentally entered your granola/cereal during the packaging phase
2-You left your window open! how silly of you :3
A cool fact, these guys do not eat once they get their wings ^:
Basically your granola might've come with eggs inside them. The eggs might fetch around 2 weeks or maybe more.
Once they hatch these little guys will start cutely munching on your stuff.

I snapped one of these in half yesterday! Because it was about to get to my frozen tomatoes. :<
This is the only phase these guys eat food. After they feast on your cereals (or dates, learned it the hard way....) They will make themselves a cozy home inside your house. Living absolutely rent free.

After this phase they will sadly turn into the ugly brown butterfly like pest at the start.
After emerging they all gather up and mate. (A female indianmeal moth can lay around 500 eggs, oops!)
Anyways your house is now infested with these and you do not know what to do?
You can always purchase pesticides, sure. But sadly you need to clean up first.
Or as far as i know from my BEST RELIABLE SOURCE grandma says lavender keeps them away.
