King Design

I am lowkey tired of the same design being used over and over again for the King in Yellow. Yeah I guess tentacle monster for eldritch horror was cool the first ten times but for every one??

Water is barely mentioned and it seems pretty implied (to me at least) that Hastur (if that's even his name) is the king of a lost and dying kingdom, that the rot that ruined Carcosa is like supernova spreading to Earth and destroying lives there. 

What part about that screams tentacle to people??
