The other day I was in class with my friends and we were talking about their boyfriends and hair removalβI feel like I'm starting to like someone, but that and the relationships aren't the point.
Anyway, we were talking about hair removal, what they thought about men shaving their backsides (I don't know if I can use the word here, but you probably know what I'm talking about), and they said that men should just trim it, because they think shaving everything would be kind of "gay." I obviously disagreed, because shaving is a matter of hygiene and cleanliness, but that's a personal preference.
What I wonder is, are people who shave their anus always gay, or are they just concerned about their hygiene?
Because I think it should be normalized for men to shave if they want to, and for women not to shave if they don't want to. Because how far does this issue of cleanliness go? Is a woman really dirty for not shaving her armpits? Is a man really going to stop being who he is just because he shaved his anus?
What do you think? Because I really don't know what my opinion should be.
(I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes; English is not a language I speak, so I use a translator to help.)

Yeah I agree with you, it should be absolutely normalized for people to shave or not shave, no matter the gender or how they're perceived. Plus, shaving isnt only for hygiene, it can also be used for practical matters, such as exercise.
By that I'm refering to the fact that my brother once asked me about shaving, saying he was considering it because the hair of his legs bothered him during jogging (I think it was because his pants or some specific equipement sometimes got tangled with it and caused him pain).
