kids should have their internet usage monitored by parents. parents supervising how you use the internet isn't a lack of trust, it's being a responsible adult. digital privacy isn't a right children have when their frontal lobes are still undeveloped.
It's really good for kids, but not when we're 16 and still using it.

I feel like if the parent was really that considered; they would take the child's phone and go through it themselves. I know some people will argue saying that builds distrust between the child and parent, but its possibly the most effective way I can think of.
