NAVIDAD, NAVIDAD, DULCE NAVIDAD, ES UN DÍA DE ALEGRÍA Y MUCHA FELICIDAD, EY! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

english version:
Sometimes I feel like Christmas isn’t the same as it used to be.
I don’t say it with sadness or anger, but with that quiet resignation that comes with growing older.
The traditions are still there: the dinner, the table set with care, the wait for midnight…
But when everything is over, when the hugs fade and the gifts are already opened, everyone returns to their own things, their own world.
And that’s alright. I suppose that’s just how it works when you grow up.
But I still wonder when the magic began to fade.
I remember that December used to have a glow I can’t quite explain.
The lights on the tree seemed brighter, warmer.
The smell of food drifted differently through the house, almost as if it were announcing something grand.
And you waited for midnight with your heart racing, as if time itself was conspiring to give you an unforgettable moment.
Now everything happens the same, but it feels different.
And maybe it isn’t Christmas that changed, but me—or all of us.
Maybe things stopped looking enormous because we’re no longer seeing them from below, with the wide eyes we had as children.
Maybe growing up means losing a bit of that illusion… but also learning to appreciate the details we once overlooked:
a sincere hug, a familiar voice, a laugh that arrives without effort.
I guess every Christmas is both a farewell and a beginning.
A reminder that time keeps moving, but also that something within us is still trying to hold onto a tiny piece of light.
Even if it doesn’t feel the same anymore, there is something—small, but real—that still shines during these days.
Something I can’t quite name, but that appears when I close my eyes and let nostalgia speak for me.
And maybe that’s enough.
Maybe Christmas, for those of us who have grown up, isn’t a burst of magic but a gentle echo of what we once felt.
An echo that, for some reason, still warms the heart a little.

This is exactly how im feeling, and this year i decided ill try and do everything for it to feel special again.
This means a lot to me, honestly. :D
I’m really glad my words resonated with you.
And I think that’s a beautiful decision — trying to make this Christmas feel special again.
Even small things can bring back a bit of that warmth we thought we lost.
I hope this December treats you gently!!!
