My Mountain Dew Xbox

So back in September i was talking to an older guy and we got talking about old games since im into old games and consoles. we talked about the NES for a bit then he talked about winning a xbox after turning in some dew points, basically he didn't expect to win one and after a while he won one and played a little bit and never played it again. the dude looked at me and asked if id like it since the xbox was sitting in a closet and said he'd never use it again, i asked how much and to my surprise he said i could just have it since he seen i was passionate about old games and wanted it to go to a person who would actually play it. after that night i went to sleep and the next morning i asked him if he was serious about giving it to me and he was still wanting to give it to me. snap back to recently and I've given up in thinking id get the mythical mountain dew xbox when suddenly my dad came over to my house to deliver the xbox and a xbox 360, the dude actually remembered and i am very thankful for him for giving me a rare xbox for free. anyways i cleaned it up and the controllers, took out the capacitor that is prone to leaking and i have never been happier in my life, I've been playing gta sa, gta 3, counter strike and the spongebob movie game for the last week on my little crt and its truly a magical experience, its probably the closest I've come to what i can imagine it was like getting a new console in the early 2000's despite not being born during that time. thank you Dusty for giving me the best gift of my life i wont forget your kind action.
