Opinions on the Clover Gold Eye 10 sharps

(I had been using a singer 10 sharp and 10 embroidery prior to the clover for reference.)

#1: They are quite a bit sharper:

This is good and bad, unfortunately you can prick yourself with the end of the eye and not just the actual tip of the needle. However, they slide like a knife through vegan butter.

#2: They are nice and slim:

Again good and bad, they bent a fair bit sooner than my singer sharps but they were easier to slide through the layers of fabric.

I personally will be trying another brand once I've gone through this pack. If anyone who sews finds this feel free to let me know your favorite brand of sharps.
