Canopy DIY process ๐–ฆนื‚ โ‚ŠหšโŠนโ‹†

๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒ™ So I've wanted to make a canopy for my room for a while. I watched a bunch of tiktoks on how to make your own canopy and started to form a pretty good idea of how I wanted mine made.

โ˜พโ‹†๏ฝก๐–ฆน ยฐโœฉ First, I created a picture of how I wanted My canopy to look using Procreate on my iPad.

โ‹†โบโ‚Šโ‹† โ˜พ๐–ค“ โ‹†โบโ‚Šโ‹† Then I went to the thrift store and bought a bunch of different fabrics. My colour scheme was going to be blue and purple, but I also bought some white lacey fabrics. My plan was to make a layered effect with the canopy.

โ‹†โœด๏ธŽหš๏ฝกโ‹† Next I started a trial and error process as I hung up the fabrics to my ceiling and wall with thumb tacks. Perhaps I should've used nails. But I didn't want giant holes if I changed my mind. I didn't get many fabrics the first time so the canopy was looking a little sparce, though it was starting to take form.

โ‹†๏ฝก๐–ฆนยฐ โพ หš๏ฝกโ‹† I waited until my next payday to see if they had more fabrics at the thrift store. I lucked out when I went to the scarves section. I made such a pretty colour scheme with lavenders and navy blues.
