How did Rich from Skins change my life ?

Hello ! so this will be long but some people seemed to be interested in this topic in one of my bulletins ! so here I am ᓚᘏᗢ

What impact did Rich from Skins had on me ?

When I was 13 I discovered a series named Skins, it's about teen life it's really great ! if you haven't watched it yet you totally should ! So 13 year old me watched the whole shit in like 2 or 3 nights (on school nights lmao) and I arrived to season 5 and I FELL madly in love with Richard

When I tell you madly it's the pure truth, I was (still am) obssessed with him to the point where my dad knows about the guy even if he never watched the series ! And to this day I still make him as my pfp on a lot of my socials, like here, it's him q(≧▽≦q) my precious baby !

My dad is a metalhead yk but I never really listened to metal, like when my dad put his things on I still listened to it I didn't complain, I enjoyed it. But the character of Richard made me want to listen to more of the genre, and now it's what I mainly listen to.

I also started to get interested in what it meant to be alt, I learnt a lot of things and point of views I agreed with ! So I started to be and look how I wanted to, at first I was a baby goth then I found out what I really was : a punk. Well I consider myself a mix between grunge and punk. I don't care what others say about my appearance, i wear fucked up shirts with holes in them, have piercing and coloured hair, wear makeup that looks like dirt... I especially like when it looks like i've been wearing it for several days, I do it on purpose yk. I don't really wear it for several days but I make it seem like I did.

It's been several years now and I grew up with this series, I watch it like every 6 months. It's truly a comfort show and I find myself in Rich, in Sid too but he didn't have that much of an impact on me than Rich

I found who I am thanks to Richard Hardbeck ! So let's all thank Alex Arnold for playing him so well ! Even tho I cried when they cut his hair (⊙x⊙;) and when I discovered Alex didn't have long hair in real life but only for the role (っ °Д °;)っ He aged like fine wine tho !
