Nervous About My Dog's Dental Surgery Next Week

I can't help but feel completely nervous about my 9-year-old dog's dental surgery happening next week. Long story short, she may need to get a few teeth removed due to pain. She is also dealing with an infection on top of that. We think it could be a bacterial or a wood-stuck-in-the-gums type of infection. My mom and I aren't really sure which one it is. 

Lucy is my dog's name for anyone who is wondering, and she is a chocolate lab/boxer mix. A truly very loving and sweet puppy. I know and understand that she can't live forever. I'm just not ready to lose my best friend yet, and I feel like she has more years of life in her. Not to mention, I trust the vet that we take her too which he will be doing the surgery.

Her surgery is happening Decmeber 3rd if anyone wants to send prays or thoughs.
