The deadline for my final entomology project is approaching, and I thought, "why not share the coolest pictures I've taken so far?" So, here are INSECTS!

* Formigas e cochonilhas possuem uma interação muito legal entre elas, algumas formigas são basicamente fazendeiras de cochonilha criando elas para ter acesso aos benefícios que elas dão a colônia como um todo. Formigas em si são bem interessantes algumas espécies também cultivam fungos que são beneficiais a elas, sem contar que elas possuem toda uma estrutura social, loucura.
* Ants and mealybugs have a really cool interaction: some ants are basically mealybug farmers, raising them to gain access to the benefits they provide to the colony as a whole. Ants themselves are quite interesting some species also cultivate beneficial fungi, and they possess an entire complex social structure—it's crazy!
