Hey, hru, I hope you’re doing great.
So two days ago I finished this book, if we were villains, and I can’t stop thinking about it.
This book ended up in my hands because of a girl that worked in the book shop where I buy my books normally, I asked her if they had a book I was looking for, and she said no but wanted to give me some recommendations, and I’m always open for some good books recommendations of course.
So I bought this book like a year ago, and it’s been sitting in my shelf for all this time until two months ago I decided I should already read it.
And OH MY FREAKING GOD.
This books tells us the story about a group of drama students (they only study Shakespeare tho) and, in the very beginning, we are told that, one of them is in jail because an apparent murder.
This sounds familiar right? Yeah, it’s pretty similar to Donna tartt’s the secret history.
I started reading the secret history and it was really good, but Tartt’s narrative is a bit slow sometimes, so I read it while reading other books, so I haven’t finished it yet and I kinda forgot about the characters… I love Donna Tartt, I read the goldfinch and it’s so good, but… you know, WAIT, IM SORRY, THIS WASNT THE POINT.
So, this book is less dense, but more emotional than the other one, this is totally my thing, also, the ending will shock you and its really well made, so that’s why I’m giving this book…

This was so good, everyone should read it.
(Book cover of the version I read)
NOW YOU’LL FIND SPOILERS
I shipped James and Oliver since the beginning, it was so obvious, but I was definitely not expecting that fucking end, maybe I could feel that James killed Richard, but I’m completely devastated by that ending. WHAT DO YOU MEAN JAMES IS DEAD, I don’t think believe it, he isn’t, okay? He isn’t.
