that's how I feel about gen z
it's so commonplace to have the same political views , extreme left or extreme right, and the whole "if you're not with us , you're against us" unga-bunga mentality. people will tear you apart these days for having opposing beliefs to them no matter who you are.
and among that is also my fatigue of gen z "humor"

I'm a Jesus freak but you don't have to be one to get pretty burnt out of the amount of absolute HORNBALLS in gen z, it's just repetitive and annoying.
keep your sexual exploits and proclivities TO YOURSELF
and in this generation we need to stop romanticizing negative things like SH , drug abuse, emotional manipulation, and trauma
MASOCHISM IS NOT CUTE NOR QUIRKY
like it's okay to talk about your problems, I support that, but it's not okay to romanticize things that hurt people and then frame them as "cute" , stop it.

I totally agree with you. Everyone wants to be different that they are the same. I also hate how much self diagnose became normal because at any moment someone will tell you"i havae autism i got diagnosed by a website a few mins ago" NO YOU QRE NOT. This generation seriously need to get educated on things and learn how to do researches( i am also talking for myself too but im trying to change :>)

Never agreed more, honestly. Making friends my age range is extremely difficult because they're all so uneducated--it's a pain.
Good Lord, I've been told by somebody older than me-around 18 to 20 years old to be exact-that the Weimar Republic was fascist because National Socialist Germany came right after it once it collapsed... I've lost interest in discussing history and historical political ideologies with others online after that.
Education is so dead amongst teenagers and young adults. They watch one TikTok video on Socialism, the American government, or WWII, and think they know everything about history and politics. Next thing you know they start using words like 'Consumerism' 'Romanticization' 'Media literacy' 'Performative', etc. And are quick to make fun of you whenever you are even negative in the slightest.. despite some of them making their disorders or depression their entire personality, and are extremely fast when it comes to assuming you use AI for writing if you use correct grammar.
It's so tragic, really. I've been made fun of plenty of times for what I'm like and how I interact with others online, it's frustrating to even think about I guess. What's even more infuriating is the pure illiteracy of said individuals on the internet, but this comment would be much longer if I even took the time of day to rant about it in depth.

I hate my generation as much as the next boomer but wasnt it the Millennials that invented sex = funny? Did we forget the 2014-2020 "man of culture" redditor era where ppl would brag about the porn codes they know and shit like that? The oldest gen z woulda been 19 at the time when it all started, yes that degen stuff existed longer than that but thats the era where band kids would wear ahegao hoodies to school and promptly get sent home for wearing it.
Millennials were also the ones that kickstarted hookup culture, Gen Z is kinda timid in that regard imo
honestly older millenials were the rebirth of boomers lol
