I don't understand the furry hate in the slightest. When I was younger though, specifically 12, I used to hate furries a lot and even leave mean comments under videos containing them. Obviously, I've grown out of that considering I was honestly just an insecure and immature individual. Furries are immensely talented and work hard on the things they create, this is a form of art people are judging simply because its "different". We're literally mammals, so how is someone actively dressing as such so mind boggling? We need to stop seeing different as bad, but as something to explore. The people indulging in this behavior are probably far more happy than the people judging. I don't want to live a life where I'm afraid to enjoy things simply because its "cringe" or "weird". Sure, I may look back and say that, but then I'll have fun and do it all over again without any regrets.

I think people hate furries because some problematic people happen to be part of the furry fandom, and what makes these specific people famous aren't exactly good things. There's a lot of sexual themes involved, such as unusual fetishes, predatory behavior towards children and animals, and a lot of undiagnosed mental illnesses that unfortunately attract a lot of trolls who love to ruin these people's lives even more. Chris Chan is a good example of this, Cierra Green, and Douglas Spink.
The bad guys go popular because they attract trolls, and these trolls generalize and ridicule the communities they belong to. It's sad and it sucks, cause I've met my fair share of furries and they were all pretty nice people.
VERY true! I swear they're the nicest people, yet most just judge. Luckily theres people like you around to see that ^^
