It's thanksgiving's eve and I cannot sleep... I have to get up in a few hours to make dessert for tomorrow and prep a few more things. I'm making banana tres leches tiramisu cake with raspberry filling and some sweet potato casserole as well. :p was anyone ever gonna tell me sweet potato casserole is a thanksgiving "side" dish that you eat with the turkey & all the other savory things at the same time and not an after-dinner thanksgiving dessert? What a revelation...  I have been eating it as an after-dinner thanksgiving dessert for the past few years. Though my sweet potato casserole does have marshmallows on top. No way was I supposed to know it was considered a savory dish, all I taste is sweetness when I eat it!! I think this year I will try to see it with different eyes even though sweet potato casserole deserves nothing less than to be seen as a beautiful fall time dessert because dessert is the best thing in the world and I love dessert. xoxo
