poem

So I wrote a poem, my first poem actually. I wrote it for our school magazine, didn't really wanted to but my teacher kinda pushed us into submitting one, and I had to write it in a few hours so it really sucks. I don't think ts would ever be selected lololol

I do think i did ok for my first poem i ever wrote tho idk 

                                            WHAT SHOULD ONE EVER BE ?

They tell us to 

hold it in 

don't be so emotional 

for it makes one weak

They tell us to 

chase our dreams

But are our dreams

so acceptable

When an AI does it

for free?

Walking silently with

our overloaded bags

our overflowing thoughts 

will they ever

make us free?

Don't be so quiet 

Don't be so loud

What should one 

ever be?

I'm trying to fit in

They tell me 

it isn't enough

For I'm all of it

from meek to weak

What are we even

ought to do

When I am me 

and you are you?

Maybe when we grow up 

and meet

We'll finally know 

That we were not weak

Now I'm sitting by 

the edge 

Pouring my thoughts 

onto a sheet

But what's the point

when an AI

would write it

for free?
