1st time trying eyeliner ☆ style / makeup progress

slowly been getting myself into a bit of light makeup, it was only in July when I started using an eyebrow pen, and just recently I've started experimenting with eyeliner! lately I have usually been just doing a faint thin line since for now I prefer to keep it subtle, but a week ago I tried actually doing more of a fuller look hehe. 

once I get good enough idk when or if I might actually keep it on or not, depending if I get the confidence, but at least I can post here, and can hopefully work towards getting more skincare stuff too & maybe nail polish. I'm still learning ofc just for fun, plus the pen is super thin and the ink is difficult to use at times lol so don't expect too much; just wanted to share and see how I progress in the future, never too late to start :D lmk your thoughts or if u have any recs!

here's my very first attempt, kinda a bit too emo looking for me right away in the first 2 photos aha and it needed balancing, so I wiped away some and retried the area for the last 2, and so while not perfect I think I'm happy with my first time :)

brought my first makeup items in july from temu lol, eyebrow & eyeliner pens; i love long brows and mine are too far apart haha so I thought I should give it a try, even if I dont make them too close :p

i first cut my own hair on the 8th of March but my phone was broken so i dont think I have any photos from that time, maybe mum took one dont remember ill have to ask. 

but anyway, the reason is simply that going to the hairdressers is always so stressful and I have a meltdown afterwards everytime lol; and so it had been 1.5 years since I last had it cut, and after procrastinating getting booked I just decided im gonna do it myself, and it was like the best decision of my life lol. it might not be perfect but doesnt have to be, Im just glad to be at peace with it and can fulfil the vision myself now.

here's my 2nd time 2 months later, actually only just trimmed my fringe but worth showing, ive never had it shorter than the rest before n have wanted to test it out :) first pic is right before, 4th pic is a month later

here's my 3rd time, dont think I touched my fringe this time but shortened everything else. part of me wishes I didn't cut it since I liked how emo-ish it was looking, but I also think this short hair is a fav for me too. first pic 5 days before, last two are 5 days after

I did slightly trim my fringe again sometime between Sep-Oct but can't find a pic rn, I was gonna make my hair shorter again like this one in July, but mum said she likes how it looks so I was like fric I'll let it grow some more then, am liking it more too tho, just as long as it doesnt go too poofy aha. maybe ill try just giving it some slight emo spike-shaped cuts sometime :) i just cant decide if I want actual bangs or not
