Work got wild a few days ago. A guy from Las Vegas had just gotten off parole I think. He was calm at first while waiting for his ride, but whatever he was on kicked in fast. He started causing trouble with the homeless guy who usually hangs out by the store, and since he had a knife, I ended up calling the cops. My assistant manager had to stay late to talk to them, even though his kid had just been in an accident.

To top it off, my till came up $60 over, even though all my transactions were right. Honestly, I’ll take that over the time a glitch made me show up $2,000 short.
