Biting as a kink, my experience

as a disclaimer, i am mentally stable. and have been my entire life.

biting is a strange sensation, for most an almost sickening act. it sits on that gray erea together with bdsm. yes it can hurt your partner, yet it can bring them pleasure if done correctly. personally, i enjoy it. this might sound weird, and to some degree it is. i feel disguted whenever i have to admit to liking it, yet i refuse to change. for me it the powerful feeling, knowing your partner is "completely" at your mercy (especially around the throat area). biting is a strange act, yet you will find it in nature all the time. from mamals to reptiles, they all bite one way or another. in mamals its especially present as either a sighn of dominance or submissiveness. seeing as humans fall under mamals ive come to acsept this "kink", and maybe embrace it. i understand that its strange, and i wont openly speak of it, still id like to document it. its also that biting toes that line to canibalism, if you bite hard enough youll obvously draw blood, drinking said blood would be canibalism. i wouldnt say i support canibalism, nor the consumption of humans in general. but drinking blood in modest ammounts seem diffrent. here is where i sound crazy even to myself. obvously vampires have been fettishised long ago, yet i sometimes immagine what it would be like, and seeing as i already like biting its an obvious next step. not that im willling to go that far. again, im against the idea of canibalism. im not sure how other feel around this topic, and im eager to hear other opinions.
