NEW LAPTOP!!!

i've just gotten myself a new laptop :3
the legendary thinkpad t480!!!! this thing is a beast!! it can run most games i wanna play too!

tried using mint but was experiencing some issues regarding drivers so now im back on windowz..
im currently trying out new stuff tho, like glazewm and other stuff that'll make my setup look alot more polished :P

but most importantly!! ill be able to work on my spacehey profile a lot more but ill mostly be active on neocities so come check it out!

bro im using mint rn on my asus essentio cm1730 i loveeeeee Linux mint i hope you can figure out the issues to install it properly it feels very familiar to windows so there is not very much of a learning curve

i think i got it set up properly but i was facing some optimization issues and was getting less performance compared to using windows and at that point i basically chickened out since i was getting impatient im gonna give it another try once i get myself a sata drive tho, my laptop's lacking a lot of storage and ram.. and the great ram shortage is not making it any better... but oh well i feel like 8 gb of ram isnt so restricting considering that i dont do anything that heavy *yet*

if mint doesn't work there are many other "just works" distros out there. I recommend Endeavouros, it's been my favorite distro that I've used but of coarse there are other ones that are also good Fedora, OpenSUSE, etc. Linux distros aside, ThinkPads in general are obviously a great choice. I hope you have fun with your new laptop :)
