You've woken up...

You feel cold outside the covers...

You look to your right and...

There's no one there...

To think that...

Just before in the dream there was someone else...

But now...

The emptiness...

You touch the pillow to realize that there really is no one there.

You feel cold and see that it's intact from where you left it last night...

The emptiness you saw... It's slowly filling up inside you...

You pick up the pillow and caress it...

And...

You think...

It was all a dream...

You look out the window....

And you see the rain falling...

The sky is covered like your tears from your face...

As you gradually gain control of yourself, you panic and seek comfort...

In a feeling that was there before but now...

Is gone.

You look in the window... A hope that something might change...

And Finally...

A ray of sunshine pierces the overcast sky and illuminates the room.

Warming the room and, above all, yourself.

Defrosting you from the sense of emptiness you've accumulated right now.

Generating that sense of warmth you've longed for since you woke up.
