Well, word of warning, most philosophy won't make you particularly wise... It will make you more conscious perhaps, but those aren't always the same thing. Though maybe thats a question best saved for the philosophers.
Either way, people will tell you lots of different stuff about where to start.... People will tell you to start with the Greeks, but frankly I'm not sure thats an actually particularly good place to start for most people. Most modern philosophy isn't a particularly good entry place either. People will tell you to start with an introduction to philosophy book, but a lot of those aren't super useful unless you're like literally a child.
I'd personally recommend finding some kind of college-level introduction book published by either a university itself or some academic publisher. I know Routledge has an "Introduction to Philosophy" series that is pretty neat, I have their "Philosophy of Religion" book.
Whatever you choose, I'd highly recommend looking for something that is:
1. Highly annotated (Annotations are just the best in all books if you ask me).
2. Comprehensible for you, but still a bit challenging
3. Talking about philosophy subjects you're personally interested in. Not all subjects interest everyone and I think thats okay.

The Philosophy of Religion book? I wouldn't recommend that one specifically if you haven't read much yet, nor if that topic doesn't interest you. Though, there could definitely be some in the other titles in that publishing series that may be worth looking at. I'll link it here.
The ones on Epistemology, Metaphysics, Ethics, Continental Philosophy, and Ancient Philosophy are all probably better starting places, though frankly I have no idea without reading them. Kinda depends on which one of those most interest you too.
