MONSTER MONDAY 18

YAYYY!! New monster monday! happy early thanksgiving anyone whos reading this day of post! :3

the flavor for today is...

SALTED CARAMEL! (JAVA MONSTER)

now, personally, i was never the hugest fan of coffee monsters. my first experience with drinking one made my stomach hurt SO BAD, but it was 1000% a bad time because i was ALSO on my period during that. i try not to have monster on those weeks, unless its specifically a Monday where i have school. i actually had this specific flavor before, but it was on that painful day. i thought i'd give it a second try

and man, i'm glad i did!

the coffee is arguably really good Especially without ice or anything in it, sure, you can have it chilled or room temperature, which i feel like is better than struggling to fully drink something that isn't incredibly watered down by the ice in it (Im looking at YOU McDonalds and STARBUCKS! do BETTER!)

when it says salty, don't expect anything too huge, it does have a slightly salty-ISH aftertaste, but its very light! although, the caramel flavor is ALL OVER! and that boosts this flavor up a TON! its very sweet and slight, but not too different from any other iced coffee ive had, i would argue this is better due to the lack of ice in the can, ( That would be so weeird, having ice in my monster can? DX )

And dont get me wrong, by no means is this monster bad, even though i don't have much to say, it does its job as a flavor and a coffee, and is pretty moderate and tame! this is definitely something you wanna grab if you have a sweet tooth for caramel, because you get a WHOLE BUNCH of that flavor! its basic, but good basic. like the original monster energy flavor. its a good base!

also, i wanna add how interesting looking the can on these flavors can be so pretty looking! it looks kinda tribal, or sorta like a tree, and i'm unsure if that has any significance, but either way, it makes the java monsters have their own distinct look! which i highly appreciate! ^_^

i give this a 6/10, its a good flavor that gives whats offered, though, it just lacks in anything that makes it stand out or be interesting. nonetheless, B tier! good job!
