How to bypass website blocks on school Wi-Fi! No VPN or Hotspot required!

I just found out how to do this and I have decided to share my knowledge. You don't need a VPN or anything! You just have to edit your device's network settings. (Works on latest Windows computers at least)

1. Go into Settings > Wi-Fi > Network properties > hardware properties

2. Go into DNS server assignment and set it to "Manual", then IPv4

3. If Google is your main browser, set preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 - This will make sites previously blocked on Google accessible! (This can be done with other browsers too but idk how to do that)

4. Set "DNS over HTTPS" to "On (automatic template)"

5. You're done! Test it out by visiting a previously blocked website!

I'm not entirely sure how this works but it does!! Browse the internet to your heart's content! ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭*ੈ✩‧₊˚ (It may not work on some devices or browsers. Remember to browse safely!)

I'll try it tomorrow in my classroom computers.

They have Windows 7, so IDK if It's going to work.

Sometimes, in technology, they give us a laptop with brave preinstalled. I use the TOR function on that browser to bypass the school's restrictions.
