yet another meat rant

for starters, i am currently a tad high, so dont expect a fully rounded blog post this time (unless of course assuming any of my other posts are fully rounded, or even halfly rounded at all)

i say once again, meat is weird.

now, i suppose i never really said why it's weird. and when you get right down to it, it's because it's the dead flesh of another creature.

i understand perfectly fine that animals eat other animals all the time in nature. this is no shock nor revelation to me. hell, i bet it tastes pretty damn good on the carn-y-vore's side. the issue that i always take with it is this:

it's grotesque/violent: there's simply no mercy at all. the big takes the life of a fellow innocent creature of this planet, and rips it apart, breaking it's bone down to dust, ending it's life in such a violent manner. the animal didn't get any sympathy and felt only pain. excruciating, mind-shattering agony. the last emotion it ever felt was pain and suffering. if that's how animals treat each other on a common basis, then it makes one wonder what the most peaceful one is.

i know i am applying a human-crafted virtue to the wild and unnatural, but we also treat other fellow creatures, and non-fellow creatures, the same exact way. we kill them by the billions every day, extract their fluids, breed them to live in a human-crafted hell, only to be killed without the sympathy of it's killer. humans have built hell on this earth.

we have indoctrinated most people to meat not coming from a living thing. yes, we all know chicken is made from, well, a chicken. but we did not know the chicken. we were not there when they were killed. we were not responsible for the virtual genocide of male baby chickens. if this was kind of brutality and unmercy were shown to our fellow man, we would immediately do whatever we could to end it and kill those responsible. and we have. but i guess it doesn't matter, because it's just animals. innocent, innocent animals.

and yet, i eat animals. i pay corporations to do this every so often.

i eat animals. not meat, animals.

sorry if this came out a little harsh. guess i went all poetic there lol
