When I was younger, these two things were out while I was still in my single digits. It was for the millennials. Sure I had MLG and early YouTube and such, but I was around 6-12. Frutiger Metro was how I thought being a teen was going to be, not how teens who already WERE THERE were living, but it's alright.

Frutiger Metro is SO pretty and full of life. Just like how being young typically is. But I do wish it was around more and being used more. Corporate minimalism is so boring. It's simple and pretty and "professional," but I'm sure we can have more fun with things. But I understand, it costs more to have fun aesthetics.

Frutiger Aero was what I aspired life and the future to be like. A future where technology and nature flourished together. That couldn't be further from the truth. It's just an aesthetic, a marketing tactic, it always was. But things seemed so simple back then, almost like it was truly possible. I still can't get it out of my head, it felt so much cleaner than today.

I'm very glad that both of these aesthetics made a comeback on tiktok and reddit. I don't have reddit but I know it's there (I've seen posts here and there) and I'm glad there's other people out there like me that enjoy these aesthetics and their subaesthetics too.
