I just learned this evening that my goddaughter's mother, Izzy B, is in the hospital with a liver and kidney infection. Becky said she might go see her tomorrow, but she didn't know yet since she pretty much cut ties. I won't go right now because I have a sore throat and a cough. So, I don't want to go in there and make things worse for her.
It was cold here last night. We were down in the 30s last night, which is usually normal for this time of year. I had to put on the gas heater just to warm up the room for the entire night. Made so nice that I nearly fell asleep twice.
Jimmy's sleep schedule is slowly returning to normal. He didn't wake up last night until about three in the morning, but then he stayed mainly in the den with me watching some police body cam stuff I had on television.
I cannot believe that this coming week is Thanksgiving. We already picked everything that has been needed (at least, I think we did). The turkey is in the freezer and ready to be thawed, and everything else is in the kitchen cabinets for cooking, from brown gravy to stuffing. Without Mom, we don't do cranberry sauce. It was her thing and not ours. I think the only thing missing are the pumpkin pies, but I think I heard Becky say she wants us to make them. >> I think she should just buy them already premade without it being a pain in the ass to add more shit to make.
Anyway, I should end this. I am done with the laptop for the evening, and I want to watch some television. See you later this week.
