Christmas

Every year, Christmas feels more rushed and I feel like this year it's gonna fly by like nothing happened. I don't even think it's because I'm getting older, I genuinely feel like Christmas is being rushed.

All it's about now is the presents and maybe the small family get togethers.

I mean, it could just be me, but this minimalism epidemic is driving me insane. Everything used to be colourful and full of creativity, especially when it came to Christmas (more in America i guess, as in Australia we don't even care enough anyways, sigh). 

I just want to see more joy and celebration than just "Oh here's a gift now fuck off and go play with it or whatever." Christmas to me is about celebration, family and gift giving as a sign of love and appreciation. I may just be dreaming to big but who knows.
