I have been trying to get into sewing the past couple of years. About a year and a half ago, I started a project to make two pillows. The last step was a "ladder stitch." I thought it seemed difficult and was worried to mess up the pillows. I set them aside and was too nervous to bother with it for months.... and months..... and months hahaha.
Well I finally decided, what the hell I might as well finish them. And it turns out, well a ladder stitch really isn't that complicated. Yes I did mess up several times. And I simply snipped the thread and did it again and again until it was complete. No big deal. The first one looks... meh but the second one actually looks like a pretty clean stitch.

Just goes to show sometimes we put off the silliest little things in life that we are more than capable of doing.

Thanks! It's always nice to do something more productive than stuff my face and listen to the same songs over and over (which is what I'm doing right now haha)

congrats! I constantly forget how to do the ladder stitch and then I have to learn it again. I rarely use it in my projects :P but I should use it more, I like how it looks.
Thank ya! Hopefully I stick with this stuff and end up being able to make my own clothes. I actully need to fix a hem on a pair of my pants sometime todmorrow
