My car has been having problems ever since I got it tbh. Which I kinda expected because it's old but now I'm having engine problems. This really sucks cuz why does this have to happen NOW?? I was about to start volunteering at the library so I can get used to being out and around people again and now I start having these kinds of issues. It really seems like every time I try to set something in motion, life decides to throw a wrench in my plans. Every. Time.
So now I gotta ask my dad to take a look at my car and hope it's not an expensive fix (I have a feeling it will be). This blows..

Hmm... what car do you have? Also what's the problem?
I have a 2006 TL acura and for some reason I can't accelerate past the 3rd gear and if I do, the car starts jerking forward while not accelerating. Happened the first time on the highway and i had to pull over :/

I'm not a Honda guy so I don't know the specific problems but if it does it only in 3rd gear it seems to me like it's a gearbox/electrical issue.

It's a 2006 acura TL. It's a pretty cool car even though it's oldge
