Roblox's New Age Verification is so Sketchy

"We will delete your photo right after!" sure buddy do you think I'm gonna trust the company that said their site was safe for kids while actively ignoring reports of pedophiles T_T
They're literally feeding the images right into AI, maybe they won't keep it directly, but what if it stays in the database? They might use the excuse that it "makes the AI better at age estimation!" but it also makes the AI better at generating CSAM and we already know Roblox is in the pedophile market. I'm just saying, who knows wtf they're doing with this data, especially with the majority of the users being literal KIDS.

I do not trust it at all. Knowing Roblox, this is about more than safety, they're making money out of this somehow. What if they have some kind of partnership with an AI company to send the data over..? Who knows at this point, we already have diVine banning AI just so it can make more bullshit with AI without it feeding on itself. AI companies are scrambling for AI free databases, so who fucking knows anymore.

Roblox could make parents accounts less sketchy to improve safety. Like seriously, what kid is faking a parent account so they can limit THEIR OWN ACCOUNT?? Why do you need to send Roblox your ID to make one? Plus, not adults are trustworthy, if there are any abusable features on there that stuff just needs to be removed.
They should add menu chats back into the game too, make it so you can do simple communication (kinda necessary since the game is online) without risking any weird stuff. If the feature was easy to hack, make it better. People could already get around communication barriers with :m or :h messages with admin, whether or not a hacker can break it shouldn't be the main deciding factor when the problem you're "preventing" is still present either way.

Roblox's current direction is so ass. None of these safety features even feel remotely about safety. If they really cared about safety, they would actually listen to reports without being threatened by the entire internet and having their stalks crash. We need new people in control or it's NEVER getting better. Do not settle for their desperate attempts at gaining your trust, they'll only keep breaking it.
