I really blame this

The way science is taught in middle/high school. And specifically physics/chemistry cause my problem when I was younger was that I never understood 'why' I was doing the stuff I was doing ! I would ask my teachers and they'd always say 'well that's how it works, just do it'.

But in my head, if it didn't make sense I could never remember ! Plus I overanalyzed stuff and no one told me it's not how it works 😂 Imagine the teacher uses an example *a guy in a spaceship, and a guy on top of the Eiffel tower*

My immediate question is "but how do we know that ? Who even measured that ?? Is this TRUE ?? This doesn't make sense, in real life people can never estimate time perfectly, always a millisecond late etc"

And that rlly prevented me from understanding the bigger picture. Now I'm in uni and I finally understand why the bonds are the way that they are : it's harder and more abstract but at least my brain understands where it comes from :D

Same for me ! I only started understanding the scientific disciplines when i started watching videos and documentaries on the subject that werent school related.
