A Girl and Her Limerence

Have you ever gotten so lost in fantasy, so infatuated with the idea of somebody that makes your heart THUMP, that you spend all your time dreaming of that person while your real life passes you by? This is the story of my life for the past eight years! I am the story of a girl lost in her head yearning for love because that is the easiest place to be. But it is not enough! I want to live and breath and kiss and hurt and do everything, taste everything!!! Be a wild sensual creature that giggles and moves about freely.

I wrote an essay about those years spent in a parasocial romance inside my mind that took me away from living my heart's desires. It's a very tragic story. But there is some hope in the end. Some hope for me, and some hope for all of you who read this. I hope it inspires you somehow to remember what life is like when you are connected to the love of your body and the earth.
